On Friday, September 26, 2025, the Department of Technology Management, Economics and Policy (TEMEP) participated in the 2025 Major Exploration Week at “SNU Commons” in the Seoul National University Central Library.

Hosted by the SNU Undergraduate College’s Major Design Support Center, the Major Exploration Week introduces various interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate programs across campus. As part of this event, Professor Jeong-Hye Lee represented TEMEP, and Dr. You-Kang Seo introduced the Global Convergence Program in Smart City. Both speakers engaged with students on site and provided an overview of each program’s key features.

Event Overview
Date: September 26, 2025 (Fri), 13:30–16:00
Venue: SNU Commons, Seoul National University Central Library

Program Schedule:
13:30–14:30 — Introduction to the Interdisciplinary Program in Technology Management, Economics and Policy (TEMEP) by Professor Jeong-Hye Lee
15:00–16:00 — Workshop Session: Introduction to the Global Convergence Program in Smart City by Dr. You-Kang Seo

This year’s Major Exploration Week served as a valuable opportunity to provide undergraduate students—especially those seeking information on interdisciplinary programs—with a concise overview of TEMEP’s objectives, curriculum, and graduate career paths. The session also highlighted the program’s relevance and direction amid rapid technological and societal changes.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of both speakers, the event successfully promoted our program and supported students in their academic and career planning.
Going forward, TEMEP will continue to actively communicate and engage not only with its own members but also with undergraduate students and the broader SNU community through various outreach and promotional activities.
