Full Article: https://zdnet.co.kr/view/?no=20250624160421
In this column, Professor Kang examines the co-evolutionary innovation dynamics between Formula One (F1) technologies and commercial vehicle R&D.
Focusing on the collaboration model of the Aston Martin F1 Team and Mercedes-AMG, the article highlights how R&D capabilities in the commercial vehicle industry—such as electrification technologies, thermal management, and manufacturing processes—serve as a foundation for F1 advancements. At the same time, high-performance and high-efficiency technologies validated in F1 flow back into commercial vehicle development, forming a bidirectional technology circulation loop.
We encourage all TEMEP members to read the column with interest.
