Hi TEMEP and SNU!

It’s an incredible honor to return to my alma mater—not only as a proud graduate, but now as a faculty member. My time as a student on Gwanak shaped me in more ways than I could have imagined. I have a sense of nostalgia upon returning home, but there are also many apparent changes. I’m thrilled to be here to support, challenge, and walk alongside you on this journey as part of the TEMEP and SNU community again.

In my courses, I aim to create a learning environment that’s inclusive, engaging, and grounded in real-world relevance. To my future collaborators, I invite students to ask big questions, think critically, and grow intellectually and personally. I want you to feel seen, heard, and empowered to take risks in your thinking. Lean into the uncertainty, stay open to discovery, and trust that you will reach your destination, accomplishing far more than you expected.

As the semester begins, I look forward to working with colleagues and students. My door (and inbox) is always open—whether you’re seeking help, exploring new ideas, or just looking to say hello.
