Courses

Students complete courses in economics, engineering, and political science according to the majors in which they want to acquire their academic degrees. The available courses include those offered by the Technology Management, Economics, and Policy Program and those offered by the Economics School, the Business Administration Department, the Graduate School of Public Administration, and the Engineering College. Courses are classified as required or elective, depending upon the academic degrees that students are seeking to acquire. The key courses of each department are listed below. Across the program, some lectures are delivered in English by professors from prestigious universities in developed countries, who are invited to join us under short-term contracts.

Seminars

An in-depth learning context in which students conduct research in their specific areas based on a number of taught concepts. Seminars on microeconomics and econometrics are offered to freshmen during vacations and in semester time.

Research and Dissertations

This track relates to individual research and dissertations. It includes a number of required courses that are offered personally by advising professors, such as the “One-to-one research guide for preparing dissertations” and “Dissertation research.” This track helps students to develop their ability to conduct independent research and to evaluate the results of research.

Extra-Curricular

This refers to the courses, in addition to those already mentioned, that students are obliged to complete before they can acquire their desired academic degrees. Representative topics include English conversation, presentation practice, dissertation preparation, and preparing to make academic presentations overseas. Other seminars are held as required.
